Mark Twain once said that there are two forces that can carry light to all corners of the world – sun and Associated Press.  Today, we can argue about ‘light’ in news, which tell us about horrible things happening all over the world. In better case, there is an opportunity to hear something close to positive at the end to let people feel less hopeless. Nevertheless, humans need to know news, at least to understand the world they live in.

With the help of an events company, Maktoum put together a luxurious, magical wedding reception that featured a sky made of Swarovski crystals. She called it “Lucid Dream.” The beautifully dreamy space had 65,000 Swarovski crystals, 4,000 paper cranes and 15,000 light sticks hanging from the ceiling to simulate an enchanting sky indoors.
